c). “state is the result of the irreconcilability of class antagonism” (Lenin )

d). “Because the society is federal, the authority must also be federal.( Laski ) 

2. “Political process in a country is merely the manifestation of political culture”. Elucidate                                            

3. Critically examine the “ Sapta Prakriti” of state as envisage by Kautilya.                                                                    

4. Discuss the importance of Machiavelli in the history of political thought. Is it correct to say that Machiaveli’s theory is ‘narrowly local and narrowly dated’?

    sir,i am a Ist year mechanical engineering student .i aspire to crack ias exam with very good rank .sir,considering the fact that i am a mechanical student ,will it be the best option to take mechanical and public administration as mains subject and mechanical as my subject in prelims? sir many people says that mechanical syllabus is very lengthy so one can’t score good marks in this subject. sir, i wish to take mechanical as my subject as i want to utilize my these three years too for the preparation of ias ,also it belongs to areas of my interest.sir,i also wish to take your advice whether geography is more profitable i.e. scoring than public administration

    hello sir,
    i have completed my b.tech in mechanical engg.. i have decided to crack the upsc ias exam with mechanical as a sub for pre and chemistry for mains.Is my decision correct or not but i feel better in these subjects.but many people said that this is not right selection.finally i m at Ur door plz help me sir please help me.

    m confused in Public Adminitration and Political Science…my first optional is History.
